Yes Dave, I couldn't agree more. I have all the Hobby Masters F-4's. I'm a great collector of Hobby Masters, them and Century Wings. Two of the finest diecast company's I've come across, though I think you'd be hard pressed to find a company that does the heavy bomber better then Corgi.

I'm torn between the F-5 and the F-101. I saw a lot of both aircraft years back and they both were impressive in their own way.

Years back when I was a tower controller Voodoos would make a high speed low and go and punch the plane almost straight up in front of the tower. Needless to say the phones would ring off the hook with people wondering what was happening. One day a Voodoo repeated this and the boom when he hit the afterburners was so loud that windows shook about a mile away. Come to find out when he returned to base the CO was waiting and he was ragged out. Later they discovered he had managed to bend some wing spars or similar damage so he was grounded and lost flight pay. From my point of view it was a great show.

Ah the fabulous Phantom, great choice. The F-4 is Hobby Master's best seller and has the largest number of releases so there must be a lot of people that agree with you.

I for one find all the F-4 Phantom variants my favourite. I'm a sucker for the big noise. That's one aircraft, in my opinion, that cannot be beaten for style and grace. I'll be shouted down I know, but the sound and sight of those smoking engines on a low pass, in re-heat, still raises the hairs on the back of my neck. Sadly no longer with us, and neithers my hair.

If it had to be a Military Plane I would have to cheat a little and go with VC-137C SAM 27000..... In my opinion one of the best looking planes to ever grace the sky..

There are so many great aircraft that if everyone had to choose just one aircraft and only one what would your choice be?
