Oh yes, I forgot that! Wasn't there a Badger which could be seen on display near Cairo airport? It was a few years ago when I saw it. The H6K is a re-engined derivative, the new Russian designed turbofans give it greater range and payload. I just love the design.

Hey Neil. A very valuable addition to you collection. Even here in Egypt the Badger has a place. But its only weak pt. was that it was flown by our dear friend Hosny Mubarak ;)

Hi Ahmed, nice to hear from you. Yes, it is Air Force 1. I was advised by my friend who got it for me, that they were originally commissioned by Xian. I don't know anymore than that. It was given to me for free, so I'm enjoying it even more, and I've always had a 'soft spot' for the dear old Badger. :0)
