Hi Garry. I also have an interest in cars, mainly those from what were the communist countries. To my shame, I was not aware, that there are indigenous GM cars in Australia. A few years ago, a good friend of mine, a came back from Australia, with a couple of lovely 1/18 scale Holden Monaro? He really is into cars. I assume that Holden is a GM company? I can remember back, when Ford Germany, had a range of cars, totally different from the equivalent Fords in the UK. GMs Opel did the same thing, making equivalent sized cars, to their Vauxhall brethren. However, back in the 80s, both companies lines converged design wise, though there was still some badge/name differences, until a few years ago.
