1/72 Altaya-IXO model - The KFIR is an Israeli development of the French Mirage III / Mirage V airframe. Regional performance improvements were made by adjunction of "Duck" wings and replacement of the ATAR engine by a more powerful General Electric J79. All KFIRs had left operational career in the 90ies.

Thanks so much, Shane! I spoke of Israeli AF service, indeed. Would be interesting to know what duties in the USA are assumed by KFIRs!

Still in use by a few different countries, like Columbia. There are also some in the US owned by a company that contracts with the US military. Nice model!
