1/48 HM model item HA 7702 - North American P51D Mustang, “Cripes A'Mighty", 8th Air Force, 352nf Fighter Group, 328th Fighter Squadron, England, 1944. Flown by CO G Preddy. On 25th December 1944, pursuiting FW 190 D9s, his Mustang was hit by AA friendly fire and crashed near Langerwehe, Germany, killing Major George Preddy Jr. age 25. Preddy was credited with 27.5 aerial victories and 5 ground strafing victories.

Happy man !! I'd like to go to Biggin Hill one day and visit the Mess with all the portraits of pilots.

Very nice Jean Francois. One of my favourite WW2 fighters. I'm lucky to live close to the IWM at Duxford, and during the summer months, we're treated to many WW2 types flying over our home.
