Amiens is #60km far from Beauvais and I knew this operation. The wing commander of this Mosquitos flight from RAF Wing 140 failed to return to his base (Wing Commander Pickard - Fl Lt Broadley), shot down by FW 190 from 7/JG 26 Abbeville. They were courageous men among so much RAF heroes.
