My Collection!
Hello everyone! My name is Bryce Rea, and I have been collecting both metal and plastic 1:200 scale model airliners now for ten years. I have also been collecting 1:24 scale NASCAR models for about the same time, but that collection isn't nearly the size of my airliner collection. I'm a regular contributor to Model Airplane Collectors, and enjoy it very much! I have been with MAC since the very beginning. I helped Matt start the site, and have loved watching it grow to what it has become now! Feel free to ask me any question you may have. I'd be more than happy to help answer them.

The first time I ever saw the Southwest Airlines Shamu special color scheme I was very little. 5 or 6 years old. I saw it on a video my parents bought me about planes. One of those "learning" videos that teaches kids about things. They were talking about Southwest being the official airline of Seaworld and showed how they brought penguins onboard. From that day I always wanted to see one of the three Shamu's in person.

GeminiJets - Probably the best known 1:200 manufacturer. Their models are all made of diecast metal. They are also probably the most reliable in "monthly" releases. It was nice running into you at the store, good to see someone around the area as interested in plane models as me. I did not get any model planes yesterday. However did have troy hold the AA 767 and to also pre-order the all black too. can't wait to add those two to my small collection ha
