I gave up on the idea of building a 1:200 model airport because I have neither the time, patience, expertise, but most of all space to do it. But instead, thanks to THIS website I have a renewed interest in photography, modeling, and the two together. So I made a display today similar to what Gemini takes it's 1/400 pictures on, only 1:200 scale. Here are my construction pictures along with the finished result. The Museum of Science and Industry on the South side of Chicago has the 17th ever Boeing 727 on display. Here are some pics from my visit. Interestingly enough, throughout the day the aircraft used to cycle through gear-up/gear-down, and flaps up/flaps down. But it didn't move while we were there.
