Well, mates, that's done. We're 1001 of us. That makes a pretty good number of foolish collectors !!!
Some of us can remember the first days of this page, thanks to Matt Whisenant and two of his friends.
In these days of incertain future and violence, it makes me good to share with all of you our passions for models and History.
Keep on collecting, and back soon on this screen !!!
Take care all!!!
Papi Jeff from France

But, dear HM, NOW it is time for the Messerschmitt Bf 109 E or F !!! And then... why not a Junkers Ju 87 B Stuka ?…

Hello, mates !!
My next post in historical articles will be dedicated to the EC 2/30 "Normandie-Niemen" Free French Air Force fighter squadron.
This squadron was the only allied force to fight beside Russian air forces against the Nazi armies during WWII.
The story of EC 2/30 is still perpetuated in Russia and France until now as a friendship sign between the two countries.

I hardly found eventually id of one of my Altaya / IXO 1/72 Eurocopter/Aérospatiale models:
the grounded one is difinitely an AS 332 L (for 'Long') in spite of an EC 725 (which possesses a 5 blades main rotor).
So, the 2 models are respectively:
on stand an AS 332 B,
on ground, an AS 332…
