World War II fighters, modern day combat aircraft, and much more are all found in this assortment, which features a total of 23 outstanding models. Aust was a U.S. Army Air Forces ace, credited with shooting down five enemy aircraft in aerial combat, and flying more than 300 missions over both North and South Vietnam. Ebersole, called to active duty by the Air Corps in 1942, flew a number of combat missions during the Second World War, providing cover from his P-51 Mustang for the B-29 long-range bombers. Other highlights include a highly detailed SBD-2 Dauntless, recreating the famed naval scout plane and dive bomber also used during the Second World War, and a newly-tooled MiG-29 Fulcrum-C, a twin-engine jet fighter aircraft designed by the Soviet Union in the 1970s.
