Hello Everyone, I haven't been active in the collecting scene for a while, until.....  Inflight released the Philippine Airlines 747-400.  I just placed my pre-order at Diecast Airplane.com.  With the MAC10 discount and free shipping for orders over $100, you can't beat this deal, especially on expensive inflight models!  Thanks Steve!  I'll definitely post some pics once she arrives...

This aircraft brings memories of LAX when my family used to come pick up relatives.  Do you remember when you could go into the terminal and wait at the gate?  It was really nice to go to the international terminal where you'd see other aircraft from other parts of the world..  Night time was really exciting. You'd see the dimmed silhouettes of the aircraft pass by on the tarmac, the green and red collision lights, and the flashing beacon lights, the windows lit up, you can see passengers looking out, and the majestic tail.  In my most memorable moments at LAX, the beautiful Philippine Airlines tail on the massive 747, taxis to the gate to join a Qantas, Japan Airlines, and a Singapore Airlines 747...    Ah the memories...
