I decided to go to the 2012 Cosford Airshow and it was the first time id ever been.

I got there at about 9am and headed straight for the static, there was only one aircraft on the list missing and that was the French Air Force C-160 Transel but iv seen them before so its no big deal.

Here are the pics of the static displays:

Tthis was the first display! Pretty Cool!:

Now for the rest of the static:

There was more Static aircraft but I couldnt get good pictures of them without crowds infront of them but I did count 22 Jaguars!

Now onto the flying aircraft, there were quite a few arrivals before the star of the show opened the display:

Well this is what made my mind up about attending the show, Iv not seen a Jaguar moving since her last display before she was retired.

Definitely the star of the show!

This RAF Rescue Sea King arrived and I thought id put pictures of her arriving up as I couldn't get pictures of her display due to heavy rain:

There was then a model Aircraft Display then to kick off the flying display a banner was being towed:

So here we go on to the flying display:

Well that's it folks!

A great airshow and definitely one I will be visiting again next year!

Thanks mate!, yeah it was a pretty good day, bit of rain but as one of the regulars said it wouldnt be Cosford Airshow without it haha!, I was told that they have between 8 and 10 running and the rest as either spairs or used for engineering training, the running Jags are used for Marshal training wich happens at Cranwell, Barkestonheath and Cosford.

Fantastic pics, wish I could have gone, looks like a good line up! Those Jags look great still, how come so many?
