Hey all!
We had an amazing day looking at lots of very nice aircraft in and around the West Midlands.
Well we set off at 11:30am from Derby to our first point of call.
Coventry:
So we visited the Midland Air Museum then went onto Coventry Airport and here are a few pics of what we saw:
Royal Air Force Hawker Hunter XF382:
Here my Dad stands infront of a British Aviation Classic.
Royal Air Force Blackburn Buccaneer:
Unfortunately the only thing left of this once proud Aircraft is the cockpit but shes still a beauty!
Here stands the mighty Vulcan with "City of Coventry" titles.
Royal Air Force Avro Vulcan B.2 XL360:
My Dad and my little brother Aiden infront of XL360, looks like Dad saw something interesting on the floor :D.
Ahh now I have there attention :D
Amazingly we got the chance to go up into her cockpit and have a guided tour and I learned so much about the Vulcan:
Here is the Navigation panel of XL360:
Here is the "Blue Steel" Nuclear Missile that the Vulcan carried during part of her service life:
Danish Air Force Lockheed F-104 Starfighter:

U.S Air Force F-4 Phanton in open storage:
Its a real shame the Harriers were withdrawn from sevice, I think the incompetent government have made a big mistake
Royal Navy Sea Harrier:
We had a good time at the idland Air Museum and around Coverntry but it was time to head to our next destination:
Wellsbourne Mountford Airfield:
Well when we arrived we were welcomed by the one and only Avro Vulcan B.2 XM677 that has been kept in Taxiable condition:
We were able to gain access to the Helicopter hanger:
Royal Air Force Supermarine Spitfire:
Well I didnt expect to find this little beauty in the corner of a Helicopter Hanger, I was told that this is a 1/1 scale model that the owner couldnt afford to keep her and she ended up here, id love this in my Garden.
Royal Air Force Vulcan B.2 Cockpit:
This beauty was the First Vulcan I had ever seen painted up into the "Anti Flash White" Livery and the third Vulcan of the day! (4th including our Vulcan at East Midlands Aeropark)
Then we headed off to Birmingham Airport for 20 minutes but I could'nt get close enough to get any photos.
We had an amazing day and I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I did taking them.
