Hello, all

I would like HM to issue 1/48 Bf109 E, Bf 109 F and Hurricane I to complete the Battle of Britain series initiated with the 3 Spit I and II models.

Hi JF, welcome to the forum.

These are good suggestions and I will make certain Hobby Master in Hong Kong knows about them.

Hin Collin!

I agree that HM could issue some "old" Japanese fighters such the "Claude" or the "Zero" A6M1 / A6M2.

Kind regards

I would also like to see a HM 109E. Carousel 1 produced an excellent 1/48 E mold, but unfortunately they quit the business. If you get a chance, try to get a hold on the yellow nose 109E by Carousel--very nice. I've also been hoping HM would produce a line of Japanese WWII types, but Japanese planes don't seem to be popular. I have a few Maurshin, and in the past have considered them a bit expensive. However, with the increasing prices of both Corgi and HM 1/72 and 1/48 types, the prices are narrowing (I suppose you could call this "catchup inflation").
There are a lot of nice Japanese aircraft but like you say they don't seem to be that popular with collectors. The market has to be there before any company will make certain models. Some people want more variety but unfortunately the number isn't that large.

Hi, Dave

I understand perfectly what you mean. We're in the subjective and personal point of view, so the majority means the commercial politics. No matter for me, any Japanese fighter would be welcome for me!!!
