Bob here in Olathe,
I was a "Troy's Toys" the other day just after he received this new batch of Hobby Master Aircrafts. The new arrivals were a very nice group of aircraft and I had to purchase a few. The new P-51D Mustang flown by Preddy is the best I've seen in the 1: 48th scale. It may be the best of all P-51D Mustang in all scales. If you have your Preddy Mustang by Hobby Master you will see all the little details of a Barber Shop and looking at right side of this Mustang cowling you will see a Barber Pole and a few more small details of a Barber or a Barber Shop. The significance of all the small Barber Shop details was that the head crew chief that was in charge of Preddy's Mustang was a Barber and got permission from George Preddy to paint Barber Pole and other little details on the the P-51D Mustang called "Cripes a' Mighty".
The other HM aircraft that was a "Ball Buster" was the A-26 and I can't wait to see the Black Model that will be showing up next. I like the Night Fighters and have a nice collection of all the Night Fighters that have been produced by several different manufactures of Diecast Aircraft. I'm a big fan of Gemini Aces and they have a very nice P-51B/C Mustang "Cripes a" Might in the 1:72 scale that I consider to be the bes in the 1:72nd scale. I purchase mine from Troy's and if you don't have one I would suggest that you contact Troy at "Troy's Toys" and see if he has an extra on to sell. They were all sold out within a few weeks of there being made public. If you can't find one a Troy's Toys let me know and I may have an extra that I would sell.
Cheers, Bob
