I've been collecting diecast for about 2 1/2 years now. I started out collecting 1/72 scale Australian military aircraft and can now say that I have managed to track down every one that has been produced so far as I know which now numbers 34. This year will be a good one with at least another 4 models coming out. Next up as the bug bit was 1/48 scale WW1 aircraft but so as to keep the numbers down I've restricted this to one example of each aircraft with a couple from Carousel and the rest from Corgi. Finally I couldn't but help buy a few 1/200 scale airliners. Again because of space I have limited these to one example of every airliner that has flown in Australian skies and the fleet has now grown to 16. It's been tough sticking to this strict theme but I can see how this hobby can get out of hand if you went out and bought everything that took your fancy.
