Hi there, I'm Ted Traikovski and I live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I love anything aviation-related from spotting at airports to collecting 1:400 diecast airliners. I have also been pursuing my Private Pilot's License too, but that may take some time as it is costly as you all know. My love for airplanes started many years ago as a child, however I never became aware of these diecast airliners until 2005. As soon as I researched how to order and purchase them I went on a spree that continues on to this day. I have over 230 models in my collection. See my collection here.

I have purchased many of my models from Ebay and direct from Gemini Jets and various Distributors. I have met some very nice people this way and also on many of the other forums which you are all aware of I am sure. Unfortunately, there is no shop here in Edmonton devoted to diecast airliners so I have to order online. Due to this, I am contemplating starting a Distributorship and/or shop here in Alberta as the entire Province does not have such a store. There are more than 4 million people in the Province so I assume that there are many more like me that reside here. I'd like to ask some of the other members on here if they have had any experience with this or if there are any members that would like to form a partnership to create this kind of store?
Also, about a year and a half ago, I created a blog on Squidoo.com that focuses on diecast model airliners which has become somewhat of a small sensation. I'd like to personally thank Matt for creating a banner link to my blog on here on MAC.com. I really appreciate his help! Here is a link to my blog if you are interested in seeing it.

I am known as RunwayModelz on Squidoo and Ebay. On the Wings900 database and other forums, I am know as Canuckwingnut so please say hi to me if you recognize my other psuedonyms! I'd love to hear from you!
In closing I'd like to thank Matt again for creating this social networking site for all of us enthusiasts and collectors. I'm excited to be involved with this site in any capacity I can from writing articles to helping with content or even directing traffic to the site.
Good luck Matt and crew and thanks again!
Ted
