As a collector, I maintain a list of models that I want to buy. I call it my "Top 50." I have a group that are top priority and I'm actively trying to find, and there are others, near the bottom that I would love to have, but there are so many ahead of them they don't garner much attention. The ultra-rare models supersede this list but have to be separate, because its not like I can just decide to get a rare model, it has to…

Mr. Park is a retired Dentist with a passion for aviation and planes. With plenty of spare time available, he decided to scratch build from detailed aviation blueprints these two fine examples of a P-51 Mustang and a F-4U Corsair. Just looking at the photos, makes you wonder how much time and what kind of patience it took to complete the projects?
After studying and admiring the photos, one has to come to the conclusion that Mr. Park is indeed a "Master Modeler!" Being able to…
Continuein this world of fast paced change and individuals always lusting for the latest and greatest, most flashiest, fastest, lcd and rhinestone ridden toys, there are always bound to be people and things left behind. the ones left behind are what i call: the quiet beauties. they have been silenced by advancement yet when examined, they exude a timeless beauty of their own.
skymarks once produced such a beauty in this american airlines 777-200 example. these sample models (who…

I have created a test diorama for my FedEx fleet.
These are just test shots because in the future the ramp will be larger and a building will be along the side of it.
I will also have a UPS and General Air Cargo Ramp to post in as well.

Well everyone! Yesterday I made another trip down to Dallas! This is the third time since last October I've been at DFW. Now yesterday wasn't a spotting trip. It was a trip to visit some of my girlfriends family, so all in all the time I spent at the airport was only around 2 and 1/2 hours all day. However, I did see quite a bit of neat stuff while I was there!
I left Joplin at 7:00am and had a very bumpy flight down to Dallas. There were weather systems building in the…

They all include black stands and I believe are about 1/32 to 1/40 scale. I have most all US jet fighters from the F-16, F-15, A-6, A-7, F-4, F-14, F-18. There are some prop fighters as well…

Haven't really done much recently do to school, but I wanted to get some new updated shots up.
I laid out 7 gates to show you how many gates will run down the left side, but only the first three are the actual gates that I'm using. The others are older ones I've printed. There will be 7 narrowbody gates down the left side. The right side will have 5 narrowbody gates, and then 4 regional parking spots. Then there will be 2 widebody gates at the far end. The 2 widebody…

Recently, and after much anticipation and delay, Inflight200 released its new 747SP mold in three initial liveries. Braniff International, QANTAS, and South African were first out of the gate, with TWA and American to come in a few months. I purchased the Braniff International version and will note the highlights in this blog.
For those who may not have known, the SP was born out of a need for Pan Am to reach…
