I was just reading about the 737-400 as it relates to Piedmont. I guess they had them on order pre-merger, but didn't get them until after the take-over but but before the merger was final, so a bunch came out in US registration numbers with Piedmont titles, and the interim/hybrid liveries. That red stripe on the the red Piedmont livery is the same as the rust-USAir livery. I'd sure like to see Gemini put out the standard Piedmont colors and USAir rust -300s, though.

OH, I guess the -400 didn't operate in the rust livery, they got those from Piedmont, and came up witht the silver USAir livery after that. But the -300 did (Gemini, are you listening?)
