United 727-22 @ Chicago Science & Industry Museum

The Museum of Science and Industry on the South side of Chicago has the 17th ever Boeing 727 on display. Here are some pics from my visit. Interestingly enough, throughout the day the aircraft used to cycle through gear-up/gear-down, and flaps up/flaps down. But it didn't move while we were there. They have some pretty neat exhibits on flight there, too. A replica of the Wright Flyer, a German Stukko, and some hands on stuff that help kids understand how an airplane flies.
